The Land of the free
In this country
filled with fear and lost dreams..
lies an ancient civilization....
where once there were no shadows ..
only the path that reveals the light...
covered in flowers and sweet nothings...
the wind whispered in ear....
the sun caressed your cheek..
and the clouds cast away all worries...
There was alittle girl ...
who yearned for more...
she wasn’t satisfied with pleasantries...
without danger the world seemed so dull...
although she didn’t quite know...
what danger really was...
nor did anyone else, for that matter..
All she knew was that...
inside her she felt a hunger...
That neither roses nor love could ever cure...
So one day she began searching ...
for the land of the free...
not knowing what to expect...
She wasn’t afaid ..
for she understood not of fear...
she left all the comfort and
security she had once known....
and sacrificed everything ...
for the unknown....
Soon after ..
she reached her destination...
Inside her..momentarily....
the hunger ceased....
Why hadn’t they let her see it before?
Why would they possibly keep
this glorious place hidden?
And she began to run ...
like she had never ran before...
But it was different here....
The wind tangled her hair ...
and the sun burnt her cheeks ...
she begin to gasp...
for she could not catch her breathe...
suddenly, she felt it ...
FEAR....
LONLINESS...
THIRST.....
then came the tears...
and as the little one wept...
she began to call out....
Someone....Help me?
yet there was no answer...
Please anyone ...I’m sorry!
yet there was no wind..
Don’t leave me here alone!
And the rain began to fall...
Help Me!
and the lightening crashed....
AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!
and then no more...
her frail body lay limp within the mudd...
A moment more and nothin but a puddle..
Curiosity....had swallowed the poor child up...
and her home faded away...
behind the shadows and the withered flowers...
all because of a hunger she could not ignore...
The moral to the story is:
Don’t make sacrifaces you cant live up to...
because you must remember...
the world isn’t all it’s cracked up to be....
that’s why it is called the land of the free....

"Could a greater miracle take place, than for us to look through eachothers eyes, even for an instant?" -Henry David Thoreau
"Life in moderation is good for the soul, but anymore than that just might kill you...Sometimes you have to ignore the voices, The saintly- 'constructive criticism', and the bitter truth of friends. Denying the fact that youth will soon whither…Forgetting that tomorrow is not of use today-You begin to wonder if you'll ever understand. Let me tell you now, you probably won't! I don't know anyone who ever has, and I don't feel anyone ever will, only for the simple fact that no one realizes what they've got until it's gone(Including me)and maybe that's why humans are cursed!"

"...It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." -From The Little Prince... By:Antoine de Saint Exupery
"The Perfect Character"
I feel the sunset in
his eyes,
I
want to hold him when he cries,
It
amazes
me how I could want him so much,
without ever feeling the
softness of his touch,
No man like this I have ever seen,
Who
would
rather be sensitive,
than cold-hearted and
mean...
You cold die without
ever knowing,
that his face would
be showing,
then
you
realize you could never look,
for his only
existence lies
between
the pages of a book.

"Vampiress"
I trusted you and you abused that trust...
You sunk you're teeth into my skin...Trying not to draw too much blood but enough to leave a mark.
Over time the wound did heal, until it was a small, barely noticeable, scar. Right when I was finally cured, someone came up and bit me again...in the same exact place but drew more.
The wound was deeper and took longer to heal...but eventually it did. With each bite I grew weaker and weaker...
Almost to the point of changing but not quite. With my forgiving nature, I left myself vulnurable to the world.
Just when I thought all the torture had ended and it would be too much of a coincidence to happen again...
I felt the bite of betrayal once more open the wound that had freshly healed... I cried and begged to know what I did to deserve this cruelty . I fell to my knees weaker than ever, but I refused to let myself go...
I forced myself with good, to overcome your venimous poisons. I wouldn't allow myself to sink to your level. God help me...I stood back up, smiled, and forgave you.
I will let myself trust, but I'll be damned if I let you bite me again!
